Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Wellstead platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Subscription Services
Wellstead offers subscription-based home maintenance services at the following tiers:
- Core — $59/month. 4 quarterly wellness visits (16-point inspection), HVAC filters included, 15% off seasonal packages, 1x loyalty points.
- Complete — $99/month. 4 quarterly wellness visits (24-point inspection), all consumables included, 25% off seasonal packages, priority scheduling, 24–48hr emergency dispatch, 1.5x loyalty points.
- Total — $159/month. 6 visits/year, same-day emergency dispatch, choose-your-time scheduling, 2x loyalty points.
All subscriptions are month-to-month and may be canceled at any time with 30 days' notice. Annual prepay options are available at a discounted rate. Annual prepayments are non-refundable after the 30-day satisfaction guarantee period.
Subscription pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email before any price changes take effect. Founding Members receive price-lock protection as described in Section 9.
3. Service Providers
Wellstead connects members with vetted, licensed, and insured service professionals. Quarterly wellness visits and seasonal packages are performed by dedicated W2 technicians employed by Wellstead. Specialized trade work (licensed plumbing, electrical, roofing) is performed by vetted 1099 specialists. Wellstead stands behind all work performed through the platform with our satisfaction guarantee.
4. Satisfaction Guarantee
All services performed through Wellstead are covered by our satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the quality of work, contact us within 7 days and we will arrange for corrective service at no additional cost. New members receive a 30-day satisfaction guarantee — if you're not happy within your first 30 days, you'll receive a full refund.
5. Loyalty Rewards
Wellstead Rewards points are earned as described in our Rewards program. Key terms:
- Points have no cash value and are non-transferable.
- Monthly earning rates: Core 100 pts/mo (1x), Complete 150 pts/mo (1.5x), Total 200 pts/mo (2x).
- Additional earning: 5–10 points on every service purchase, 1,000 points per converted referral, 50 points per review, 500 points signup bonus.
- Maximum redemption: 3,000 points per quarter.
- Points expire 90 days after cancellation. Points freeze (do not expire or accrue) during membership pauses.
Wellstead reserves the right to modify the rewards program with 30 days' notice to members.
6. Cancellation, Pausing & Refunds
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your member dashboard with 30 days' notice. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No cancellation fees apply. Refunds for partial months are not provided.
Pausing: Members may pause their subscription for 30 or 60 days, once per calendar year. You must be an active member for at least 3 months before your first pause. During a pause, loyalty points are frozen — they do not expire or accrue. Your membership resumes automatically at the end of the pause period.
Points on cancellation: Unused Rewards points survive for 90 days after cancellation. If you resubscribe within that 90-day window, your full point balance is restored.
7. Property Eligibility
Wellstead services are available for single-family homes, townhomes, and condominiums within our defined service area. Properties must be located in the active service zone (currently Canyon Lake, New Braunfels, and surrounding Hill Country communities).
A property profile is required during onboarding. System inventory is completed and verified by your dedicated technician during your first quarterly wellness visit.
Homes exceeding 2,500 sqft, or with multiple HVAC systems, septic systems, or other additional complexity, may be subject to modest surcharges. All surcharges are disclosed after your property profile is reviewed, before your first quarterly wellness visit.
8. Limitation of Liability
Wellstead's liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the total subscription fees paid by the member in the 12 months preceding the claim. Wellstead is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Founding Members
Founding Members (the first 50 subscribers) receive the following benefits:
- Price locked at their signup rate ($59 or $99/month) for 12 full months — guaranteed regardless of any general price changes.
- 500 bonus loyalty points on activation.
- First seasonal package at 50% off (save $60+).
- Priority first-visit scheduling — your tech arrives within 2 weeks of signup.
- 30-day satisfaction guarantee with full refund.
- Exclusive "Founding Member" badge in their profile — permanent.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Comal County, Texas.
